A Buddy of mine had one similiar to that years ago. It kept a very sharpe edge and point on it. But I do remember why he quit wearing it too; one night after he had taken a shower he put on his pants leaving the belt unbuckled and while shaving the knife fell out and went deep into the top of his foot. I’m not kidding about that. So ‘ya gotta be carefull and not walk around with the belt undone.
It’s kinda funny to think back on it now though.

P.S. His was one of the dagger types that was not a folding blade. The knife edge went into the belts sheath like pocket.

Yeah, I actually saw a vendor selling this knife at a show we attended recently. At the time I thought, “this has got to be the ultimate redneck accessory”. But, who knows? You have to be safe these days and I’m certainly not against defending oneself. You have to admit, though, that allusions to those old five inch square trucker belt buckles from back in the day abound.
Anybody remember those?
