About user comments on this blog
I have this blog software set to allow visitor comments. However, they first go into a Que for me to read before they are published. There are several reasons why I Que the comments. Number 1 is to stop spammers and spam bots. Number 2 is to weed out off topic, hateful, vulgar or racist remarks. If plan on leaving this type of comment, don’t waste your time. I will just delete it.
I had my reservations about allowing comments at a blog site to begin with. This is not a forum, it is a blog. However, I could see times were comments can be useful in communication and constructive criticism from the visitors of this blog.
Some of the things that I bring up in the pages of this blog may be controversial. I am not going to edit or delete your comments just because you may not agree with what has been said or the issue at hand all together. But, I will delete your comment if you do not have a valid email address. I will delete your comment if it contains slander, hateful, vulgar or racist remarks.
That being said. Feel free to leave comments at any of the posts, but remember they will not show up immediately. I get an email whenever a comment or track back is submitted and I try to publish them as soon as I do.

I think I would have deleted Rachel’s comments myself. Maybe she is in the 18-20 year old age bracket. I bet you do want to kick yourself. Wonder if Rachel is legal and weighs 100lbs. A tacky but curious question….A comment I read said Billy Lane lives in a 2 million dollar oceanfront house. I thought it was like a townhouse or something….although I guess those can cost 2 Million. Do you know that is the cost of Lane’s home?

Nobody likes a potty mouth. Children are reading this stuff. Shame on the BAD people. They ALWAYS spoil it for EVERYBODY else.

Well as to her comments, they are very childish. I figured better to post them and let her live with them. Maybe learn from them? Any way, yes it was a tough decision.
As to you real estate question. According to the Brevard County Property Appraiser, Mr. Lane’s townhouse has a market value of $960,140.00. Of course this is not what it would sell for, it is for tax purposes only. It is a rather small townhouse. I would guess around 1.5, but real estate is not one of my strong points.

Exactly the reason why I am going to move this conversation elsewhere Sandie.
I was in the middle of setting up the blog and forum software at another domain that I own when somebody here in Brevard County cut a fiber optics line that took me off line for a couple of hours.
Any way, I am going to be opening a domain that I have had for a few years, http://www.bikersvoice.com. I am going to set it up with blog software that will allow others to start their own blog and a forum that requires you to be over the age of 18 for discussion such as this.
Only thing is, now that I was set back a few hours and with me leaving for Sanford Bikefest tomorrow. I don’t see me getting it set up pretty. I am going to shoot for functional for now : )

I keep checking Bikers Voice and it says that it is down for maintenance. It has been like that for quite awhile. Are you still planning on bringing Bikers Voice to life???
